I'll start off. So, with the current direction things are going, the U.S. and Russia are effectively co-belligerents against Europe/EU. The EU and China aren't formal allies but they're kind of being forced into a corner together by the U.S. and Russia. But I don't see much conflict and bloodshed outside of Ukraine. The REAL bloodshed is going to be between Rwanda and a coalition of Pro-DRC African nations. The LAST time this group of countries got into a huge war over 5 MILLION people were killed. I predict Russia and the U.S. to come down on the side of Rwanda, as they are already defiant against the international community and the EU which have come down against Rwanda and on the side of the DRC. A war on China is possible, but unlikely (although the whole idea of a third major international conflagration such as this is unrealistic on it's face, so what the hell). I predict Russia getting strongarmed by the U.S. into a position against China - they already don't see eye-to-eye on Central Asia and North Korean involvement in Ukraine, so it wouldn't take much to get China and Russia to go to war with each other - although this would be short-lived. Due to Russia's geopolitical proximity to China over the United States, I predict Russia would change sides in this war - or at the very least go neutral and drop out of the conflict entirely to refocus on Ukraine. All-in-all, about HALF of all casualties in WW3 would occur in China, I predict the U.S. targeting the Three Gorges Dam which results in massive civilian casualties and thus gets the United States and it's reluctant sidekick in the Russian Federation HAMMERED with accusations of war crimes and genocide attempt against the Chinese people. The UN would come down HARD against the United States and Russia - despite the fact that Russia dropped out within the first year of combat and became neutral/Anti-US from that point forward, they will STILL not resist the urge to commit war crimes as they have done in Ukraine. I predict in Europe the bloodshed will be limited to Ukraine, but I predict Russian asymmetric warfare against periphery EU states such as Romania and Poland will unfold, which will result in one, the other or both deepening their military relations with Ukraine, and forming a "Triple Axis" against Russia - a defense agreement between these periphery states and Ukraine to act as a bulwark against Russian aggression. NATO is fucked as an organization if the U.S. goes neutral or pro-Russia, they will still respond if one of their member-states is attacked, but due to the U.S. wildcard they're going to be operating with a limp in this conflict.
