WI: Aliens wage war in our solar system

Starting tomorrow morning, all across the galaxy, alien ships appear and begin battling each other with long range energy weapons (Think Star Wars/Mass Effect) across our solar system, with some battles being visible with long distance probes and others being seen from outer space.

There are three factions, each with their own ships:

1. Blue ships in a circular shape.

2. Red Ships in a rectangular shape.

3. Green Ships in a triangular shape.

It should be noted that the aliens will make no aggressive action towards Earth or it's peoples during this time.

They will fight for over two months, until only three ships remain on each side.

Afterwards, the surviving ships will retreat out of the Solar System.

Over the course of the war, dozens of ships will crash on Mars.

Finally, one ship from each faction will crash on the moon, for a total of three ships.

What will your reaction be?

What will global reactions be politically, economically, and religiously?

So basically humanity is their punching bag?
As per OP the Aliens don't bother with earth.

So either they have some sort of anti killing off primitives protocol and/or anti destroying Earth like planets protocol.

Well if the Aliens decline to contact Earth, all govs probably wait for a bit and if salvage teams from any of the aliens dont show up then it is feeding frenzy time to reach the wrecks and the sweet alien tech contained within? Oh and the alien corpses. if any, to see what the hell they look like.

Hard Science Fiction authors all collectively die from heart attacks.

Worldwide day of morning for them run. Curtis Saxton is hired by Donald Trump to run a new agency for communicating with these aliens, as well as analysing their technology, which likely soon causes some type of diplomatic incident with them...

Tom Kratman gets the job.
Aliens are so emotionally amazed at the horrors of war and how humanity so valiantly faces such struggle with indifference that they set up a Liberation corps of human war specialists which definitely is not code for private deathsquads

Tom only works on point, nutcase right winger

Curtis works on two, nutcase right winger and does calcs.
Which means the Trump administration will choose Kratman so that it doesn't get confused by them crazy numbers. Can't trust a man who can do more complex stuff than additions.

Cue world peace and utopia as the assholes become Earth's first and finest export to galactic society.

They probably wouldn't even notice us if they were able to come here from another galaxy. That's hilariously a lot of orders of magnitude more powerful than us.

It would literally be a boot compared to an anthill, if that boot were propelled by tachyons and Q-thrusters with antimatter in place of the steel toe (and yes, we're the anthill).

The OP said "from all across the galaxy", so it's not that OP, just massively OP. Of course, if you give SB a reverse-engineered spaceship, two Apple Notebook and a few days, we could achieve some excellent results with the aliens. Well, excellent as long as you don't think you'll ever miss SB.

At least we all hope this is more of a Independence Day interaction with tech and not a Cyber Way interaction.

Eh, I sitll think we'd be pretty much fucked if something were able to come to Earth from anywhere outside of our own solar system within a reasonable time-frame. It would take years traveling AT the speed of light to get to the nearest star system right? Even traveling that fast is still like a century beyond us, if not more. Who knows what it would actually be like, it certainly wouldn't be anything like Independence Day, Martians with a Cold or LOLWATER aka Signs...

I never said SB wih that equipment would do anything worthwhile beyond disappearing. Which was the excellent result. ;-)
