As the title says a Sword and Sorcery with a focus on both the swording and sorcery in a post apocalyptic fantasy setting with all kinds of fun occult horror.
Rules are:
You can post as many facts about the setting as you want.

You can't contradict a fact that another poster has posted but you can expand on what others have said.

If you feel that something is not a good idea to include, you can ask the person who posted it to remove it or edit it.

If someone asks you to remove something you added, you don't have to do so. However, if you want to keep it you should either edit it to fix whatever problem it had or write an explanation to justify its inclusion.

Please do not post spam. Put some effort and thought into your facts before you post them.

You do not have to be completely serous and some silly ideas are fine, but please avoid adding in outright joke posts.

You may not add anything that breaks the setting or does not fit with what has already been posted. For example, if everyone else is only adding stuff to one planet or one galaxy, please don't add in an entire galactic empire that wasn't mentioned before. Obviously everyone will have a different view of what does and does not break this rule, as long as you try to get what you add to fit the rest of the setting it should be fine.

Now for our first fact.

Welcome to the world of Men and Elfs. The Sun is not a center of light but darkness as its is a torn open gateway into the searing Beyond, demons, gods and other monsters stream through it endlessly pouring over the landscape, devouring and remoulding it based on the corruption that washes over plain and hill, mountain and river. Those who live in the glare of the Black Sun pay homage with bloody sacrifice to gods of War and Ruin, the celestial orb a concentration of raw destruction that pulsates with fury as the day passes.

Magics of blood and bone enhance and madden the warriors of the desolate lands to monstrous strength and vicious vigor, blood sacrifice and mystic rites invoking the shadow of the dread orb keeping them in bestail shape. Sorcerers are made immortal and indestructible by the black fire of the Broken Heavens, their minds holding the forbidden Names of the forces and powers locked in the roaring malstrom, ripping the howling essence of gods and demons from the Gate to invoke and bind the raging occult energies and arcane madness that seethes and boils in the Black Sun. They harness the madness of the dreadful stars and blistering sphere of ruin that are locked into the sky from searing so deep into the fabric of the clouds and air. The men who live in the Desolation fighting and stealing the magics of the gods and demons of the Black Sun except for those that swore oaths of loyalty and service.

The Elfs live in bejeweled cities made with the master crafting they learned from the stars before they were consumed by the eldritch inferno of the Black Sun, holding the slivers of secret knowledge of a long lost age of alchemy and making that only the once bright containers starfire could hold, but no more can the secrets be learned as those stars are now bleeding wrecks of hellfire and the gestation space for destructive gods. They hold court over the shadows of the night, the gleaming light of the White Moon soothing the aggravated wounds inflicted by the merciless Black Sun. In the gentle dreaming of the White Moon they speak with the Gods of the netherworld, holding consoul with the last Spirits of light that survived the awakening of the Black Sun. Layering their body and mind in blessings and holy warding to protect them from the harsh branding of the Black Sun.
Both Men and Elves though they survive in different ways do what they can to make a life out of this world, fighting off the numerous eruptions of nightmarish corruption that bursts from the earth like a rotten cyst.

The sorcerers have a spell that, they employ to wreak mass destruction:

It is called the Endless Nightmare. Sorcerers collect a ring from an ongoing marriage, black ink and add their blood. This liquid becomes a sweet tasting poison.

Charming and pretty sorceresses have, use this poison secretly in letters they write, for it absorbs into your skin.

Once infected you begin to slowly go mad, seeing the true desolation and writhing fury of the Black Sun. You begin to see your deepest fears come to life and lose sleep, pursued by your nightmares, which can be altered by the sorcerer/ess who now has a link to your mind.

The final stages are rapidly losing weight and becoming starving as well as contagious. Ink pours from your cuts or in your saliva and touch, infected others with the curse you have been inflicted with.

If you know anybody that might like this tell them about it.
Kay Kay!

Here's a small monster/demon.

Looking like a large mouse these demons travel in groups and live anywhere they can find with like decent weather and a steady supply of material objects to eat. They ruin houses, delighting in destroying specifically well kept homes, tho they have no conception that what they do is right or wrong.

Elvish mommies train their kids to 'love the Night' by releasing them when they become teens, into pitch darkness, with one meal and one canteen of water. They are expected to find their ways home with only their senses of direction. Disabled elf children are not treated any better.

That is both cruel and a nice cultural detail without being excessive and making sense.
Nice job:)
