Star Wars On Earth

It is just a regular day in May 2005 when a huge starship show up in Earth orbit. It is seen by too many nations and amateur astronomers to be covered up by the governments (should they have chosen to do so).

Surprisingly, when the ship starts transmitting, it becomes apparent that the individual sending a message has that one face that only a mother could love... it is the one and only Darth Vader with a Star Destroyer and a plenty of Imperial troops. They inform the Earthlings that our planet is a long-lost colony of the human race, and that they represent the Galactic Empire. They would like Earth to join in.

In fact, this is THE Empire of Star Wars, and it is just shorly past the Battle of Yavin, but before the Battle of Hoth. All the events that occurred in the movies would have actually happened, all the things that had been revealed in Episodes V and VI still hold true. Better yet, a small percentage of Earth's population does have the "Force potential" to be trained as Jedi or Sith.

What happens next? -

Some idiots fight it out and get stomped. The rest of us shut their mouth. Vader goes Base Delta Zero on Earth once his little family secrets are revealed to be common knowledge here - his ship's crew will be purged at a later date. That is, after grabbing all information about the extended universe as well as the movies. The Empire wins, hard.

Good end, as our sacrifice prevented the new trilogy from ever coming to light in that universe.

Earth send their best debaters from SB to argue against the idea of the Empire winning. The famous and highly intelligent vs debater Mith is unleashed on the Imperials and they are soon defeated with his brilliant argument of "They can't have biggatons as the story isn't like that".

We win.

I don't know if we don't act like idiots and hide most Star Wars stuff we might get away with general oppression. Considering how different their computers and networks run unless someone hands them a smartphone they might ignore it. And why would they look for bizarre metaknowelge on what would be some random backwater planet. The worst part would be the force potentials that might be what really gets us in trouble.

The idea that a civilisation that advanced would even have an issue slicing directly into our most secure databases is ludicrous.

In computing, one only has to look at the droids to think, "Yeh, maybe they can beat us in that department".
