Daala, the admiral who was so incompetent that they had to retcon that she was brain damaged.

Basically the same person but she's ''on the good side''.

Rules:

1. Maximum competence allowed under each character.
2. Legends calcs for both sides, even if Holdo (thankfully) doesn't exist in Legends.
3. Bloodlust: On.
4. Starting range: 100 KM.
5. No hyperspace ramming due to a random interdiction field.
6. Holdo is in command of the Raddus, whilst Daala is in command of the Gorgon.

Haven't seen TLJ since it came out, but iirc Holdo wasn't incompetent? She was just an extremely annoying character with an extremely stupid plot surrounding her who made a decision to avoid informing the crew so as to avoid Imperial spies reporting the plan back to the enemy?

Her plan, on premise, didn't make any sense. What's simply stopping the First Order from shooting the transports before she hyperspaced ou- Oh wait, they did that. But to stay on topic, who do you think would win?

Hmm. I think it's been too long since I saw it, and I won't be seeing it again any time soon.

At a guess, Holdo. If they literally retconned the other's decisionmaking to that point, it had to be dramatically worse than Holdo's.

You wouldn't consider an admiral doing a suicide run and letting mutiny breed incompetent?

Answer: Holdo tells Mondor on how Leia trusted her to win this VS, she rams anyway ;)

Basically they were relying on stealth, they were hardly guaranteed detection.

The main problem is, Holdo had almost jack and squat for resources to work with. By the time she was in command, their bombers and fighters had been devastated, they were known-being-tracked, she had three ships and some unarmed/unshielded transports, and that's it.

So it's kinda hard to tell how she'd do in other circumstances because how many other plans are doable at that point?

Not really. I mean, the former was massively successful, and the latter was because 1) the enemy was tracking via unknown means, so the more know the plans, the better, and 2) the subordinate she wasn't telling has a history of running off and doing his own thing like he just did.
