[x] Space Industry:
While the industrial capacity of the OCP grows, more industry needs to be move from the planetary surface into space, where even the dirtiest processes can be used to produce good without pollution. In turn, this means more production.

*Return of House Cameron from Periphery Exile*

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF_______

No. Just No.

As for the rest?

The Marians lost 5? whole legions plus all the attending ships?

what do they have left? Do they have anything left?
On the other hand this sudden unplanned 'reveal' on our part, combined with our existing tech advantage, may make the organization, that is behind the OTL WoB, Knights of Saint Cameron, Republic of the Sphere, Devlin Stone and the HPG Blackout, freak out and accidentally reveal its existence.

? i don't understand what the freak out is about, context and explanation please?
Post-3150s canon freak out: There is fan talk that the Cameron's had a full-on backup plan (with cloning, iron womb tech, and robotic auto-factories that can replicate themselves given time...a lot of time) in case of Amaris happening and ComStar (only the leadership of the what became the WoB had known), Devlin Stone (without him even realizing it), Knights of Saint Cameron (fully in the known, the Cameron's Wolf Dragoon equivalent), the Clans (without them even realizing it) and the Wolverines/The Blood (were/are in the known) were their patsies, spies, and manipulators.

Helm Data core was a fuck up on their part. Also, someone like Hanse getting born and nearly uniting the IS under HIS families leadership was also a fuck up. They are not perfect or infallible.

They are about to start shitting bricks if they exist in this story. They would also create a nice Chapter 2 main enemy (Prologue was tutorial and pirates and Chapter 1 was ComStar), without immediately going for the WH40k Space Hamster or the VN Berserker AI's with Little Boy.

If we are going to be forced into a larger conflict, better to start building up.

I would like to know where to find that... For research purposes...

Well this has been the most military heavy turn yet. We rolled a nat 1 for the space battle but our stacked bonuses gave us the win anyway. Though how we win might make things harder down the road. Entire system had to see us crush them with missiles on top of claiming credit for the KKV attack so future warfare everyone will probable focus more on missiles and PD. As for Terra probable best not to play into their delusions though. Lets just hold the orbitals til the FedCom can get troops here and send them a message to hurry up because we need to get going. Let them deal with a planet full of entitled assholes. Doolittle(Terra) can stay a month or two then link up with the rest of the flotilla and head home. The captured ships can be brought with to meet up with the one taken from the other two systems. Any wrecks like the aegis should be looted then finished to deny them to others. John is welcomed among us and we will benefit from his experience. Other warships probable better of taking apart for study and using metal to make our own ships. See what happens.

Green bracket is a bit of a disappointment and maybe in 4 turns we can redo it and see if can do better? Give time for house cleaning and stink to fade. Single gun delivered should be useful at least. Operation Arminius looks to be great success so far. Marians should be finished frankly with those losses. Perhaps send a ship to Alphard with footage and set peace terms? Let our pact buddies pick them out in reason and tell the Marians "Vae victis". Any terms you guys would want? They refuse we can go on the offensive but the Caeser or who ever replaces him would have to be nuts to try. Probable lots of POW but not sure they can go home at this point given culture there. Circinus worlds could use more farmers. Better than they deserve really.

Exchange scholars will probable be interesting but can guarantee most all they send will be spies themselves. See how it goes. If nothing else we both get to spy on each other with us having a advantage and it looks good PR wise. Diplo? To early to tell but should normalize relations and hopefully open markets.

And Tillman. Holy crap the Tillman. Its functionally a Star Destroyer in the Star Wars sense. Enough weapons and armor to crush anything in a system and enough carrying capacity to land a army to seize the ground. Its just bloody perfect. It still has glass cannon problem technically but no known design in canon can face this beast and not die screaming. A single one by itself can eat a clan navy star. Add in a warship load so 2 squadrons and honestly there is no known force in the galaxy that can fight one and win.

Mining is fine and science looks pretty good. Helm is finally cracking open and hyperspace even if failure unknowns in sciences means new possibilities. Cracking what is going on there could give many benefits. Round the sphere events? Marians are fucked and any mercs probable bailing if they have sense or perhaps try for a coup and install themselves? Marians just had most all their military gutted. Great time to try something. Pact should be very happy with this and lack of damage to their worlds. And we still dont get scavenger behavior? Yeah ok we are willfully blind still yep. League is getting its comms back online. FedCom needs to hurry up. Perhaps tell them to get to Terra or we will loot it ourselves?:D

Warringers end video makes me nervous. Something is happening and we just are not seeing it yet.

Build up the fleet. We need more Engrod for force projections. Hopfully wont need them to smack marians but we need them and industry needs to get done as well.

What a coincidence that its shaped like a triangle...

The Camerons were the rulers of the Inner Sphere until they wer ganked by Amaris.

From that point on it was 300+ years of constant warfare between the major houses over who takes over the spot.

So!

If we claim or the claim that we are the Camerons get circulated we are autohated by the IS Great Houses for daring to show up and take the prize they had been fighting for centuries and autofreakout and hated by the Periphery states because the Camerons have a whole lot o Murder and Genocide against them in their name.

Oh and lets not forget the Clans.

Sorta not really. Its been 300 years. Even if we could make a valid claim good luck getting many in power to actually care. The houses want the star league back but with their butts on the throne not some hypothetical Cameron who does not have a star nation anymore unless we really want to play that to the hilt. Periphery rightfully hate anything from the sphere and really should hate and fear idea league could return. Clans are nutters who might play along for a while but really they are just like the houses and want the power and their civilizations emphases ruthless psychopathic might makes right behavior. Frankly not worth the trouble.

Besides, the Houses know we have no interest in any overwhealming power over the Inner Sphere. After all Hanse scammed us into that Conference and all we did was to broker peace and hand our free information, something nobody who wants power does from their point of view.

I mean we could but we dont because we like peace and not grinding generational pointless war and we would need generations of ugly war to break them even if we destroyed all the jumpships and waited a decade or two for the collapses.

Edit: Honestly we probable just confuse the heck out of the houses and they dont know what to make of us.

The age of battlemechs has ended, behold the age of warships!!!

SS: "But we haven't any warship"
OCP: "Not my problem."

Only two turns to decode the Science: Yes Helm Core.

Warships in BT suck because the Devs dont want battlemechs to be overshadowed but we are not so held back. They will still certainly play critical roles if only because of every other powers obsession with them but the rise of affordable and plentiful warships is very much going to change the balance. Indeed i would rather try to hide the Tillman at least for a while or keep it on the down low. They already have to be nervous and resentful of us having warships. The sight and understanding of the Tillman could make things ugly.

They cant make anything like. They simply cant. The best overall warship ever made that they know of was the McKenna. Its pure broadside salvo of heavy NPPCs comes out to around 180 cap damage. The Tillmans is 1,300 cap for the 7.5GW lasers alone. the .8 lasers add 93 cap damage. Its forward Cap damage comes out around 1,240 cap damage to the McKennas 364. In terms of armor the Tillman is very nearly 3 McKenna in one. And the Tillman still can carry 40 dropship and has full service ability as a forward base. The best the old SLDF had was the Potmkim that sacrificed most everything to carry 25 dropships. The houses were already far behind as is. It will be 2 decades before they can restart production of corvette and frigates. They see this they will know they have lost the race for at least a generation and best bet is not trying to make warships but to desperately spam dropships with sub cap nuke launchers and pray hard it does not come to a war. As is be interesting to see how it goes given it should spread pretty fast how badly we slaughtered the comstar SLDF relic ships with missiles outside their range to even fight back.

Helm? Looking forward to it but honestly not expecting great stuff given we should have equal or better in most fields already. A nice addition to us at least.

Cameron's bio plague bombed and glassed worlds to create a circular fire brake preventing the spread of humanity out away from their reach.
Or is it to keep someone out, instead of in?
And why are there more world habitable in one direction, but not the other?
Why did Kerensky go in the direction he did? Did he know something?

The path to hell is paved with good intentions after all.

And with that the building blocks of plot fall into place...
