Ironically, Star Trek: The Next Generation (and DS9 for that matter) inadvertently give a telling example of why Russia & China refuse to buy into the current Euro-Atlantic centric world order. Witness the Klingons' downfall from a near-peer of the UFP to basically their side bitch in the span of a couple of generations. From being able to go toe to toe with the Feddies to having their heads of state being chosen by mere starfleet captains and being at their beck and call...
In such a context is it really surprise that the Cardassians, the Romulans, the Russians, and the Chinese would rather chose to resist the obvious good guys?
Wait a minute. the USMC calls flashlights 'moonbeam' because moonlight is just reflected sunlight and batteries are just energy storage devices, which combined with the argument that most energy sources are really just derived sunlight (some takes more steps than others) meant that flashlights are just reusing sunlight themselves...
... does that mean that a nuclear fusion powered flashlight will be called a 'sunbeam'?
*me, signing a document affirming that I will not post anything on the internet that's in any way, shape or form that'll make me, and thus by extension, my employer, look bad*
I'm gonna be going somewhere without internet for a few months, thus for any concerns and misc whatever go bother my AH.com account, which I have paid my brother to manage and maintain in the meantime.
Well Sailor Moon would have gone very different had Artemis or Luna been in possesion of a couple of nukes.
